Colorado Springs Portrait Photographer | Wedding Anniversary

As is the case with so many military couples, He graduated from his Masters program one day, the couple was married the next and they left on assignment Monday. They were married on St. Patrick’s day by an Irish priest; this easily explains their love for all things Irish.

Married thirty-three years ago and still in love as much as ever! I so enjoyed meeting and photographing these two and celebrating with them.

Broadmoor Portrait Photographers | Jake & Dariel

I cannot express how much I enjoyed photographing this session with Cara alongside. She is so creative, and can get a couple who may be nervous and camera shy to strike the most amazing pose so effortlessly! We certainly make a great team.

Dariel and Jake have been married for a while now; Dariel was eager to have this portrait session as soon as we mentioned the Old Hollywood theme. Boy, doesn’t she look amazing?!

Yeah, Jake, at first a little apprehensive about being in front of the camera, soon warmed up when he learned he would get to smooch with his bride a whole lot. (mwah!)
